Print release, Copying & Scanning

 

First use
If you have not used your fob with a photocopier before you will need to activate it for use. This only needs to be done once. To do this follow these simple steps
1) Place your 'key fob'  fob.jpg(for staff) or 'student id card' (for students) against the reader card.jpg
2) When prompted with "Unknown card, Do you wish to associate this card with your user account?", Select yes.
3) Use the on screen keyboard to log in with your College username (first part of your email address) and password.
4) Done, carry your fob with you and next time you present it you will be signed in automatically.
 
Print release instructions
 
1) Select Print in whatever application you are using and direct the job to the printer. If you need further help on how to print see the article here.
2) Visit one of the schools printing devices within 24hrs (see list of devices below)
3) Place your 'key fob'  fob.jpg(for staff) or 'student id card' (for students) against the reader card.jpg
4) Select 'print Release' print_release_screen.png​ and then release the print jobs you want printed.
 
#Note: to install or print to a College device you will need to be connected to the College network.
 
 
Copy instructions
 
1) Place your 'key fob'  fob.jpg(for staff) or 'student id card' (for students) against the reader card.jpg
2) Select 'Device functions' print_release_screen.png​ and then perform the required copy operations.
 
 
Scanning instructions
 
1) Place your 'key fob'  fob.jpg (for staff) or 'student id card' (for students) against the reader card.jpg
2) Select 'Scan' print_release_screen.png​ and then perform the required scan operations.
3) Wait for the scanning to complete and then hit send to complete the task.
 
 
 

Student printing quota is 4c for years 7-9, 10c for year 10's, 20c for year 11's and 30c for Year 12's. These amounts are accrued daily to a maximum amount of $10 at any one time. 

Cost per print is set at 2c per grey-scale and 10c per color A4 page. A3 prints are charged at double A4.
